HSBC has launched a new type of banking service, called Innovation Banking. This includes the UK division of Silicon Valley Bank, plus new teams in America, Israel and Hong Kong.
This will give globally-connected banking services to innovative businesses and their investors.

HSBC Innovation Banking UK has over 650 people working in the UK and the Nordics. It has a team of over 40 people spread across the US in the Bay Area, Boston and New York City. Around 20 people have been hired in Tel Aviv, Israel. A dozen dedicated bankers have joined the team in Hong Kong to provide services to Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific.
