CySEC Warns About Berkshire Hathaway TX Crypto Site

CySEC has issued a caution against a crypto firm that is not authorized to operate under the applicable regulations.

CySEC is warning that the website http://berkshirehathawaytx.com does not have a connection to any companies officially registered with them as a Crypto Asset Service Provider.

Investors should check the CySEC website before engaging in any business relationships to make sure the company is legitimate.

CASP = A person who offers or performs one or more of the following services:

  • Trading crypto-assets for traditional currency;
  • Trading between different crypto-assets;
  • Managing, transferring, storing and/or safeguarding, such as custody, of crypto-assets or keys or tools that enable possession of crypto-assets;
  • Providing and/or selling crypto-assets, including first-time offering; as well as
  • Participating in and/or supplying financial services connected to the distribution, offering and/or sale of crypto-assets, including the initial offering.
