ASX gets new CIO Tim Whiteley

The ASX has chosen Tim Whiteley to be their new CIO, starting on 1 July 2023.

As CIO, Mr Whiteley is in charge of:

The Group’s computer systems

  • Protecting data
  • Managing the data properly
  • Taking care of the technical equipment
  • Making sure ASX’s technology gets updated and improved.

Tim Whiteley was named the head of ASX’s CHESS Replacement Solution Design work in November 2022. He will be responsible for building a new leadership team to work on the CHESS replacement program.

Before coming to ASX, Mr Whiteley had roles at Westpac and Commonwealth Bank, where he was responsible for overseeing big tech changes across the organizations.
