Visa, a company that deals with digital payments, announced that they will open a new center for technology and products in Poland.
President, Technology, Visa, Rajat Taneja, said:
Poland’s highly skilled workforce and vibrant IT sector make it an ideal location for us to recruit and collaborate with partners and businesses to develop new payment solutions. The next wave of our product and innovation roadmap is even more exciting as we focus on the next generation of AI, cybersecurity and the resilience and availability of our network for all who depend on it.
Visa is investing worldwide to expand its digital commerce and payment capabilities. Over the next few years, the Hub will hire 1,500 new tech and product workers to support the company’s 24/7 development model.
It has chosen Poland to be its fifth major hub for technology and product development. This decision reflects Visa’s commitment to innovation and investment in Europe, including Poland. It hopes to expand and utilize the impressive technology talent located in the region to bring more value to consumers, clients, buyers, and sellers internationally.
