CQG, a company that provides advanced technology for traders, brokers, businesses and market venues, has rolled out an update to their CQG One and CQG Desktop platforms.

1. The new Desktop Version 8.5 update includes Basis Trade with a source instrument field, the ability to bid one month and hedge another when publishing Bids & Offers, and an STM/Internal cross order duration.

2. It also introduces a Trade Bids & Offers widget with improved spacing and speed, featuring trading buttons and columns.

The most recent update of One includes:

1. The addition of bid, ask, volume, and PTMMM columns to Active RFQ.


CQG recently improved its trading solutions. The newest version (8.4) of CQG Desktop enables users to clone bracket orders.

Version 8.2 of CQG Desktop has given users a higher spending limit through the Max Purchasing Power Limit option in the Accounts widget and a UserAttributes column in the Orders widget. CQG One/Spreader now contains a Payup parameter as well as the ability to view spread/pair rates in the quote board.

The Strategy Builder (formerly named Spread Builder) was improved to let users create combined spreads.
