CMC Markets Plc (LON:CMCX), a global leader in online trading and institutional technology solutions, has revealed trading activity in its shares by senior management.
On March 6, 2023, Euan William Marshall, the Chief Financial Officer of CMC Markets, and David John Fineberg, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, obtained 120 and 124 shares respectively in the broker under the CMC Markets Share Incentive Plan.
Mr. Marshall purchased his shares at 248.05 pence per share, while Mr. Fineberg acquired his shares at 242.8 pence per share. This transaction followed an earlier purchase of shares in the broker made by the two executives one month prior.
Euan Marshall joined CMC Group in November 2011 and has progressed through a variety of finance roles since then, culminating in his appointment as Chief Financial Officer in November 2019.
He is responsible for the management of all finance functions globally and investor relations. Possessing 19 years of financial services and business consulting experience with Barclays, HSBC, and Deloitte, he is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, having obtained a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
Meanwhile, David Fineberg joined CMC in November 1997, where he worked on the trading desk. As a senior dealer, he oversaw the UK and US equity books and developed the Group’s spread bet dealing desk.
He began working with the Group in April 2007 as its Western Head of Trading and was promoted in September 2012 to Group Head of Trading. In January 2014, he was appointed as Group Director of Trading and further elevated to Group Commercial Director in June 2017. Most recently, he was promoted to Deputy CEO in April 2019.
