M4Markets, run by Trinota Markets (Global) Limited, has taken over some or all of the activities of Tixee, a forex and CFDs provider working in the EU and all over the world.
Tixee is shutting down its trading platform and providing existing customers the opportunity to move their accounts to M4Markets.
Tixee had more than 155,000 registered customers from 115 different countries before it was acquired by M4Markets. The specifics of the deal are still unknown, and it is uncertain if M4Markets only obtained the list of customers or if it was a more extensive acquisition.
Tixee has stopped permitting new accounts on its Seychelles and Cyprus-regulated platforms. Additionally, Todor Georgiev, its former Chief Operating Officer, has left to join FXGlobe, another FX/CFDs broker.
A few other Tixee staff have left the company in recent weeks. Notably, two ex-Tixee members of the Business Development group, Huan Van Tran and Donya F, have joined M4Markets. Tran is serving Vietnamese-speaking clients for M4Markets, a rewarding demographic of traders, and Donya is now the Senior Business Development Manager.
