This solution gives people the ability to see their subscriptions and recurring payments within their digital banking app. Customers no longer need to leave the app and sign in elsewhere, they can cancel services directly without leaving.

President, Cyber & Intelligence, Mastercard, Ajay Bhalla, said:

Now more than ever, people want greater visibility over their monthly spending. This solution gives consumers direct control over their subscription payments through a single trusted source. This puts power back where it belongs — with the consumer.

CCO, Subaio, Frederrick Hamann, said:

Together with Mastercard, we stand stronger in empowering consumers to make informed financial decisions in today’s subscription economy. We deliver a smooth, hassle-free experience for controlling subscriptions and payments, designed to meet the needs of modern consumers’ fast-paced lifestyles. Our solutions cultivate a strong sense of commitment within this digital generation, driving growth for our partners.

Credit card providers and merchants can benefit from financial institutions that help customers track their spending. This way, they can save on operational costs, disputes, and call center pressure. Mastercard is introducing these solutions to strengthen the links between consumers and businesses. So customers can find the right subscriptions that fit their lifestyles.

Financial Institutions in North America and Europe can now access Mastercard’s solution. This solution, which comes as a single API, gives customers control over their subscriptions as well as the ability to view digital receipts and merchant information, making their digital financial lives easier.
