Stripe and Google Workspace are joining forces to enable paid appointment bookings with Google Calendar.
Using Stripe Connect and Stripe Checkout, customers can now pay for services when they book them on a Google Calendar page.
Vice president of product management at Google Workspace, Ilya Brown, said:
Stripe makes it incredibly easy to accept payments directly from Google Calendar, so customers can complete bookings and make payments in seconds.
Businesses can now use Google Calendar to take payments for services. They connect their Stripe account to Calendar, set a price, and then create a booking page. Customers choose a time, enter payment details, and make the payment. The payment is needed before the meeting starts.
Chief revenue officer at Stripe, Mike Clayville, said:
Making appointment booking and payment ridiculously easy for customers means less administrative work and more revenue for businesses.
Google Workspace has teamed up with S Checkout to make it easier for businesses to take payments with Google Calendar. This checkout form has been designed to make payments smoother, and it supports over 40 payment options.
