CQG adds price alerts feature

CQG, a company that offers advanced technology solutions for traders has added a feature that allows users to set price alerts.

Since this is a newly added feature, the company will be making improvements to enhance the experience in the upcoming updates.

You can find the price alerts list. And alerts that have been triggered by going to the Notifications section on the left side of the menu.

In the price alerts dialog box, there are two tabs. One shows the alerts that have been triggered, and the other shows the alerts that have been set up.

Creating alerts

You can easily set up a price alert by right-clicking on a quote, a line on a chart, or the price scale on the HOT/DOM. This will open a window where you can customize the alert settings. You can choose from various conditions based on market data values.

Once you save the alert, it will be added to your list of notifications in the Alerts window. Please note that currently, users are limited to 10 price alerts. CQG regularly updates its platforms, and they have recently made improvements to their CQG One and CQG Desktop platforms.

The updates in the latest version of CQG Desktop (Version 8.5) include new features like the ability to add a source instrument field for Basis Trade, the option to bid one month and hedge another for Publish Bids & Offers, the addition of STM/Internal cross order duration, and the introduction of a new Trade Bids & Offers widget that enhances spacing and speed with trading buttons and columns.
