The newest version (10.23) of TWS makes it simpler for advisors to design and invest in Custom Indexes.

The big update is the “Invest” button that makes it easy to put money into a chosen Custom Index for a client account.

If you want to know how to invest clients in a custom index, you have to select Invest in Custom Index(1) from the Rebalance window. Then select the account you want to invest in, and now the Investment Amount field (3) becomes editable.

Enter the amount you want to invest in the index model. The Investment Percentage and Final market value of the investment will update accordingly.

If you have already invested in the model, your new investment amount will be added to the existing amount.

When you have finished entering your investment, click the red Create Reallocation Orders button (4) and start investing in the index. You can go back to your model anytime by pressing the Return to ModelName button (5).

The newest version of the TWS platform includes Trading Central updates. The “Value” and “Value Analyzer” tabs in Fundamentals Explorer and the Discover tool have been replaced with Fundamental Insight. To complete the Custom Index model investment for a specific client, the orders must be transmitted.
